Why I’m Running: Dr. Allen’s Promise to the People

Dr. Vinson Eugene Allen, a dedicated physician, humanitarian, and small business owner, is running for State Assembly with a sincere vision focused on community care, because he sees the community as his family. His 2026 campaign is centered on advocating for job creation, affordable healthcare, housing, and safer neighborhoods, particularly for those who have been neglected by the existing system.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Dr. Allen has successfully created jobs, improved access to healthcare, and helped families achieve dignity. He believes that true honor lies in providing every individual with the chance to lead a healthier, more secure life, and he is prepared to bring his compassion, expertise, and results-oriented leadership to Sacramento.

Priorities

Affordable Housing: Build more affordable housing and create paths to homeownership. Families in our district should not have to move away just to find a place they can afford, and I will fight for policies that protect renters and stabilize costs.

Healthcare Access: Expand access and increase funding for community clinics and mental health services. As a physician, I know that investing in preventive care and mental health saves lives and lowers costs in the long run.

Jobs & Small Businesses: Invest in job training and apprenticeship programs and provide resources for small business recovery and growth. As a business owner who has created hundreds of jobs, I will fight to cut red tape and make sure small businesses thrive.

Public Safety: Expand resources to increase safety measures for our communities and local businesses. Real safety means both preventing crime and building trust between communities and law enforcement.
